I was drawn to the family-driven atmosphere when I joined the Key Advisors family in 2016. As years have passed, getting to know our clients personally has been one of my greatest pleasures. I enjoy getting to ask about their children, grandchildren, and travels and, in return, getting asked about my family.
Recently, I was speaking with a client and apologized to her because we had been playing phone tag. She laughed and said, “I’m not your only client.” In fact, she is correct, but my goal is to make everyone feel like they are.
I receive many phone calls, emails, and requests as the Operations Director. It is a part of my daily responsibilities to ensure requests are filled, questions are answered, and support the team wherever needed. While our advisors are listening to research and running client meetings, the back end of operations prepares to have Required Minimum Distributions processed, set up new accounts, ensure asset transfers are completed, and many other tasks.
I’ve watched the firm grow over the last seven years, and our internal processes have changed with that growth. Still, the thing that has stayed consistent is the passion, drive, and dedication to this firm, our team, and, most importantly, our clients.
The added personal touch that is provided here is what makes our firm unique and unlike most. All of our clients have different situations, risk tolerance, as well as goals and objectives. We aren’t a cookie-cutter firm that will place everyone in the same strategy, nor do we have the buy-and-hold mentality.
You will notice a very hands-on approach from the first meeting with KEY and when you commit to being a part of our family. We want our clients to know they aren’t just a portfolio. From when we set up accounts to transfer the assets, make sure systematic withdrawals are established, and, more importantly, your allocation fits your goals and objectives, you will not have only spoken to advisors but everyone on our team.
